Kastamonu Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesi Grafik Tasarımı Bölümünce III.sü planlanan Uluslararası Posta Sanatı Sergisi’nin teması “UMUT” olarak belirlenmiştir. Geleneksel hale getirdiğimiz posta sanatı sergilerine 2018 yılında “Memleketim” teması ile 21 ülkeden, 650 eser 305 sanatçı; 2020 yılında “Hiç” teması ile 19 ülkeden 450 eser, 313 sanatçı katılım sağlamıştır. Bu sergilerin ilimize, üniversitemize ve posta sanatı camiasına katkılarının yanı sıra uluslararası düzeyde etkileşim sağladığı da görülmektedir.
Tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan pandemi; yanlızlık, yoksulluk, yoksunluk, engellenmişlik, özlem gibi duyguları beraberinde getirmiştir. Pandeminin yaşattığı kaos ve karantina günlerindeki olumsuzlukların yanı sıra küresel boyutta tüm insanlığı etkileyen kıtlık, iklim değişikliği, kadın cinayetleri, terör, ekonomik kriz gibi unsurlarla hayatlar etkilenmiştir. Umut Posta Sanatı Sergisi, tüm olumsuzluklara rağmen insanların içindeki umuda dair duygu ve düşünceleri paylaşmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilecektir.

The theme of the International Mail Art Exhibition, planned for the third time by the Department of Graphic Design of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of Kastamonu University, has been determined as "HOPE". In 2018, 305 artists from 21 countries with 650 works of art, with the theme "My Homeland", are presented to the traditional postal art exhibitions; In 2020, 450 works and 313 artists from 19 countries participated with the "None" theme. It is seen that these exhibitions have contributed to our city, university and the postal art community as well as providing international interaction.
The pandemic that affects the whole world; It brought along feelings of loneliness, poverty, deprivation, frustration and longing. In addition to the chaos and quarantine days caused by the pandemic, lives have been affected by factors such as famine, climate change, femicide, terrorism, and economic crisis that affect all humanity on a global scale. The Umut Mail Art Exhibition will be held in order to share the feelings and thoughts of hope in people despite all the negativities.
